The invention discloses an electronic control punishment braking system and braking method. The barking system comprises a magnetic valve C1, a magnetic valve C2, a shrinkage cavity C8, a magnetic valve C3, a pressure switch C4 and a pressure switch C5, wherein the magnetic valve C1 is arranged between an equalizing reservoir control tube and an equalizing reservoir charge and discharge tube of a brake valve B1, the equalizing reservoir control tube is further provided with the magnetic valve C2 and the shrinkage cavity C8, the magnetic valve C3 is arranged on a train pipe, the pressure switch C4 is arranged on a killer tube, and the pressure switch C5 is arranged on a brake cylinder pipe. The electronic control punishment braking system and braking method have the advantages that graduated punishment braking function in the braking system is improved, and service braking or emergency braking can be implemented respectively according to punishment categories; electronic control is adopted, accurate control is convenient, and punishment quantity can be established accurately; the structure is more concise, and assembling is convenient; the cost is greatly reduced, and the cost is reduced by over 20,000 RMB by adopting the scheme rather than adopting a P-2-A valve.
