The invention discloses a mine tire and a preparation method thereof. The invention is characterized in that the mine tire is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight by a Banbury mixer: 35-60% of emulsion-polymerized butadiene-styrene rubber, 0-15% of natural rubber, 1-4% of activator zinc oxide, 25-38% of medium/super-wear-resistance carbon black, 0.2-2.0% of anti-aging agent RD, 0.2-2.0% of anti-aging agent IPPD, 0.3-1.0% of stearic acid, 0.3-1.2% of protective wax, 0.3-1.1% of paraffin, 1-5% of tackifying resin, 1.5-6% of aramid fiber pulp short fiber, 1-5% of aromatic oil, 0.5-1.5% of dispersing agent FS-97, 0.5-2% of sulfur, 0.5-2.5% of accelerator NS and 0.05-0.3% of anti-scorching agent. The tire tread has the advantages of high hardness, high tensile strength and excellent rubber tear resistance, is capable of effectively reducing the phenomenon of loosening of tread plug and enhancing the service performance and traveling safety of the mine tire, and prolongs the service life of the tire.
