The invention discloses a device with an automatic braking force adjusting function. The device comprises a bracket. A mating plate is arranged outside the first side of the bracket in the vertical direction. A horizontally-moving part capable of moving transversely is arranged in the bracket. A first elastic element is arranged between the second side of the horizontally-moving part and the inner wall of the bracket. The direction of acting force of the first elastic element on the horizontally-moving part is perpendicular to the mating plate. A self-adjusting plate capable of moving in the vertical direction is arranged in the bracket, and a second elastic element is arranged between the self-adjusting plate and the top of the bracket, and acts on the self-adjusting plate in the vertical direction. A self-adjusting part is arranged below the self-adjusting plate transversely in a movable fit manner, and can move horizontally along the self-adjusting plate, and the direction in which the self-adjusting part moves is perpendicular to the mating plate. The first side of the self-adjusting part makes contact with the second side of a frictional element. The second side of the self-adjusting part makes contact with the first side of the horizontally-moving part. The frictional element can move in the vertical direction. After the frictional element moves upwards, the first side of the frictional element makes contact with the mating plate and is clamped between the mating plate and the first side of the self-adjusting part.
