The invention discloses a storage tank exhaust device and a model selection method of the storage tank exhaust device. The storage tank exhaust device is used for exhausting gas in a storage tank. The storage tank exhaust device is a cylinder made of a porous medium material. The top end of the cylinder is connected with an exhaust hole of the storage tank. The outer surface of the porous medium material is coated with a non-infiltration coating. The aperture of holes in the porous medium material is gradually increased in the radial direction of the storage tank exhaust device, so that under the situation that gas-liquid two-phase flow in the storage tank enters the storage box exhaust device, liquid flow in the storage tank is discharged under the action of surface tension in the radial direction of the storage tank exhaust device. Thus, gas-liquid separation of the gas-liquid two-phase flow is achieved, the technical problem that an existing storage box exhaust device does not take the situation that because of gas-liquid separation, the dependence on a propellant management device is large into consideration is solved, and the dependence that an existing storage tank must depend on the propellant management device during exhaust to form large bubbles to achieve gas-liquid separation is reduced.
