The invention discloses vehicle-mounted equipment and a train communication system and belongs to the technical field of train control. By adoption of the vehicle-mounted equipment and the train communication system, the technical problem that the operation efficiency is low when a train passes through a ZC (Zone Controller) boundary zone under the condition that only one wireless communication device is usable is solved. The vehicle-mounted equipment comprises a wireless communication device, a time management device, a storage device and a processing device, wherein the wireless communication device is used for receiving switching instructions from a ground transponder; the time management device is used for determining wireless overtime time slices after the wireless communication device receives the switching instructions from the ground transponder; the storage device is used for storing communication contents with a receiving ZC when the wireless communication device stops communication with the receiving ZC; the processing device is used for determining a next movement authority according to the communication contents with the receiving ZC, judging whether the current movement authority is connected with the next movement authority, and carrying out zone switching when judging that the current movement authority is connected with the next movement authority.
