The invention provides a high-reliability electric-hydraulic braking system which comprises the components of a braking pedal, a control unit, a boost driver, a braking main cylinder and at least one selected from an automatic driving system or an auxiliary driving system. A braking path is formed by the braking pedal, the boost driver and the braking main cylinder; wherein the control unit is used for generating a driving signal for the boost driver based on a signal which comes from the automatic driving system and/or the auxiliary driving system and contains braking requirement information. The boost driver is composed of at least one linear electromagnetic driver and is set to a state that the linear electromagnetic driver can be freely pushed by outside in failure, wherein the linear electromagnetic driver is driven by the driving signal for generating a pushing force. The pushing force is applied on the piston of the braking main cylinder for making the piston move and generating a required braking force. By means of the high-reliability electric-hydraulic braking system, the reliability of a whole system can be improved.
