The invention relates to the technical field of equipment for buildings, in particular to a novel roof hoisting device for a building. A hoisting device fixed base is fixed to the top of the building. A semicircular rotary table is movably arranged inside the right side of the hoisting device fixed base. A driving motor is fixed to the upper end of the left side of the hoisting device fixed base. A hydraulic telescopic hoisting support is arranged in a reserved opening in the right side of the semicircular rotary table. A plurality of rope rolling wheels are arranged at the top of the hydraulic telescopic hoisting support and connected with a hoisting basket through steel wire ropes. The novel roof hoisting device for the building is simple in structure and novel in design; the hoisting wall of the hoisting device can stretch and retract freely, and a hoisted object can be controlled to be spaced from the building by a safety distance; in addition, the hoisting device can move horizontally and rotate, in this way, an operator does not need to stretch out the hand to grasp the ropes, and the novel roof hoisting device is safer and more reliable.
