The invention discloses a gravity center adjusting device for a underwater glider and a working method thereof. The device comprises a counterweight, a motor, a transmission module, a storage battery and an electric energy post-processing module, wherein the motor is connected with the counterweight through the transmission module; the motor is connected with the storage battery through a lead; the electric energy post-processing module is connected with the motor and the storage battery through leads; the motor has functions of an electric motor and a power generator; the transmission module has a electric transmission function and a power generating transmission function; and the electric energy post-processing module has a voltage-regulating and rectifying function. The gravity center adjusting device for the underwater glider, disclosed by the invention, can be used for performing wave power generation, charging the storage battery and providing energy to the underwater glider because the power generating function is added on the basis of the traditional gravity center adjusting device for the underwater glider. According to the gravity center adjusting device for the underwater glider, disclosed by the invention, the existing equipment of the underwater glider is fully utilized because the electric motor and the power generator are the same motor and an electric transmission module and a power generating transmission module are the same transmission module.
