The invention relates to a fully virtual automobile instrument system, a working method thereof and an automobile with the system. The fully virtual automobile instrument system comprises a main processor module in which an operation system is embedded, wherein the main processor module is used for providing a graphical interface of an automobile virtual instrument and automobile state data to an image module; and then the graphical interface of the automobile virtual instrument and the automobile state data are displayed by a display module; the image module is also used for detecting a working state of the main processor module in real time and requesting an auxiliary MCU (Microprogrammed Control Unit) module to transmit the automobile state data to the image module when the main processor module has no response; and the automobile state data are displayed by the display module after being transmitted to the image module. According to the fully virtual automobile instrument system provided by the invention, after the main processor module is judged in a crash state through the image module, the main processor module is replaced by the auxiliary MCU module to display corresponding driving data on a virtual instrument panel for a driver to check; and moreover, the main processor module is reactivated in the background without affecting the driving experience of the driver. A technical problem that the virtual instrument cannot obtain vehicle running data (the driving data) because the embedded operation system comes into a crash is effectively avoided.
