The invention provides a two-dimensional tower crane perpendicularity measurement device and method. The device comprises a main mounting plate, a double-shaft tilt angle sensor, a connecting corner piece, right-angled fixing pieces and an adjusting folded plate. The main mounting plate has two adjacent perpendicular edges. The main surface of the double-shaft tilt angle sensor is attached to the main surface of the main mounting plate. The adjusting folded plate is an L-shaped right-angle folded plate. A side plate is fixed to the main surface of the main mounting plate in the manner that adjusting bolts penetrate through adjusting through grooves; the position, connected with the adjusting folded plate, of the double-shaft tilt angle sensor is close to one of the two adjacent perpendicular edges, and the position, connected with the main mounting plate, of the double-shaft tilt angle sensor is close to the other one of the two adjacent perpendicular edges. According to the measurement method, in the measuring process, the edges of the connecting corner piece are embedded in a notched corner of the main mounting plate. Side plates of the connecting corner piece are C-shaped flat plates. The outer edges, close to the two ends, of the side plates of the connecting corner piece are bent outwards to form fin plates. The two fin plates located at the same ends of the side plates of the connecting corner piece can be mounted on a main chord member of a standard joint of a tower crane through connecting corner fasteners in a sleeving mode.
