The invention provides a five-level gradual-type gas-liquid-solid coupling collision energy absorption device and application. A cylinder of the device is divided into a gas pressure chamber and a liquid pressure chamber through a first sealing piston and a second sealing piston. A choke block is arranged inside the liquid pressure chamber. A buffer spring and first columnar foamed aluminum are fixedly arranged on the side, away from the liquid pressure chamber, of the second sealing piston. The first columnar foamed aluminum is located inside a straight beam. The other end of the buffer spring stretches out of the straight beam and is fixed to a pressure bearing plate. Second columnar foamed aluminum linearly opposite to the first columnar foamed aluminum is arranged on the pressure bearing plate. The end, away from the pressure bearing plate, of the second columnar foamed aluminum stretches into the straight beam. Under the condition that the spring does not have elastic deformation, the first columnar foamed aluminum and the second columnar foamed aluminum are separated from each other. The sum of the linear length of the first columnar foamed aluminum and the linear length of the second columnar foamed aluminum is larger than the length of the straight beam. According to the five-level gradual-type gas-liquid-solid coupling collision energy absorption device, more energy is absorbed level by level, collision energy is absorbed and buffered step by step, and therefore the automobile collision safety performance is well improved.
