The invention discloses a pull handrail for bus passengers, and belongs to the field of safety appliances. The pull handrail is adjustable in height. The pull handrail comprises a longitudinal rod and a ring buckle, wherein the ring buckle is connected with a connecting-rod assembly downwards through a pin shaft on the ring buckle; a V-shaped elastic sheet is clamped on the pin shaft and rivets on the left side and the right side of the connecting-rod assembly; an up-down stepped groove without a middle groove bottom, and a transverse long groove are formed in the upper border of a frame-shaped pull handrail; two connecting rods at the lower end of the connecting-rod assembly stretch into the stepped groove, and the two rivets at the ends of the connecting rods are lengthened a little and stretch forwards and backwards out of the long groove; an I-shaped pull rod of which the upper edge is lengthened is buried in the stepped groove under the long groove; the lower edge of the pull rod penetrates through the stepped groove and enters the pull handrail frame; a row of teeth in left-right symmetry is formed on the upper edge of the pull rod, so that a tooth rod is formed; each tooth is right triangular, the oblique surfaces on the left side and the right side are opposite, not reverse; tower-shaped pressure springs are respectively arranged on the left side and the right side under the tooth rod; the teeth are in contact with the rivets in the long groove. The pull handrail disclosed by the invention is suitable for buses.
