The invention discloses a high-voltage system fault detection method. A high-voltage system comprises at least one electric energy transmission circuit. A fuse is arranged on each electric energy transmission circuit. The method comprises the steps that detected states of the fuses are obtained; according to the states of the fuses, whether the electric energy transmission circuits where the fuses are arranged break down or not is judged; and when the electric energy transmission circuits break down, a whole vehicle is controlled according to preset control strategies corresponding to the electric energy transmission circuits so as to ensure the safety of the vehicle. According to the high-voltage system fault detection method, the control strategies corresponding to the electric energy transmission circuits are matched with the electric energy transmission circuits, refining control is performed for the different electric energy transmission circuits by adopting the different control strategies, and the control strategies of the whole vehicle are more reasonable and user-friendly. In addition, the invention further provides a high-voltage system fault detection device.
