The invention belongs to the technical field of production of hot continuously-rolled strips and particularly relates to a hot rolled steel plate for an automobile compartment having the strength being greater than or equal to 600MPa and a manufacturing method of the hot rolled steel plate. The high-strength hot rolled steel plate comprises the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 0.05-0.10 percent of C, 1.30-1.60 percent of Mn, 0.06-0.09 percent of V, less than or equal to 0.30 percent of Si, less than or equal to 0.020 percent of P, less than or equal to 0.010 percent of S and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities. The hot rolled steel plate for the automobile compartment is produced by adopting a manganese and vanadium alloying manner; the yield strength of the hot rolled steel plate reach over 600MPa, the tensile strength of the hot rolled steel plate reaches over 650MPa, and the ductility of the hot rolled steel plate reaches over 15 percent; the high-strength hot rolled steel plate has the characteristics of high strength, stable mechanical property, favorable toughness matching and excellent molding property; the mechanical property of the hot rolled steel plate can meet the requirement of light weight of an automobile.
