The invention discloses a landing electromagnetic damping system for a shipboard aircraft, which belongs to the technical field of large-scale ships. An electromagnetic damping block capable of adsorbing an aircraft carrier and forming friction is arranged at the tail part of the shipboard aircraft; and the electromagnetic damping block is connected with the shipboard aircraft through a rope. The shipboard aircraft adsorbs the aircraft carrier through the electromagnetic damping block while landing on a warship to increase the friction between the shipboard aircraft and the aircraft carrier and reduce the inertia of the shipboard aircraft; therefore, the shipboard aircraft is decelerated and stopped, the landing stability of the shipboard aircraft is greatly improved, and the probability of landing accidents is reduced. Through the opposite attraction between an electromagnetic strip on the aircraft carrier and an electromagnet on the shipboard aircraft, the adsorption force and the friction force can be further increased so as to accelerate the stopping of the shipboard aircraft.
