The invention discloses a novel aerial escape parachute. The aerial escape parachute comprises a parent parachute and a parachute canopy, wherein the parent parachute comprises an umbrella stem, a main parachute and an accessory parachute, the main parachute and the accessory parachute are sequentially mounted on the parachute stem from top to bottom; the parachute stem comprises a supporting rod; a safety belt is connected to the lower end of the supporting rod; the main parachute comprises parachute ribs I mounted on the supporting rod of the parachute stem, and a parachute surface I fixed through the parachute ribs I; a parachute top hole is formed in the upper end of the parachute surface I; the accessory parachute comprises parachute ribs II mounted on the supporting rod of the parachute stem, and a parachute surface II fixed through the parachute ribs II; the parachute ribs II are elastic so as to deform inwards and outwards; the parachute canopy is positioned above the parent parachute; pull cords are uniformly connected to the periphery of the parachute canopy, and the other end of each pull cord is fixed at the lower end of the supporting rod. The aerial escape parachute disclosed by the invention has the advantages of being convenient to store, easy to operate, simple in structure, and low in cost, and can be rapidly started; the aerial escape parachute is high in safety; when an emergent situation occurs on a high-rise building, the aerial escape parachute can help a user to rapidly and safely escape.
