The invention provides an adjustable wall-attached supporting rod. The adjustable wall-attached supporting rod is arranged in an attaching device of a tower crane and comprises at least two supporting rod parts, and the adjacent supporting rod parts are detachably connected to form a supporting rod part combination body; two ends of an adjusting screw cap are in threaded connection with a first adjusting screw rod and a second adjusting screw rod; the other end of the first adjusting screw rod is welded with an adjusting end lug plate, and the other end of the second adjusting screw rod is detachably connected with one end of the supporting rod part combination body; and the other end of the supporting rod part combination body is detachably connected with the fixed end lug plate. The invention further provides a mounting method of the adjustable wall-attached supporting rod. Firstly, according to the needed length, the supporting rod parts are preliminarily combined and connected, and screws between the adjusting screw rods and the adjusting screw cap are utilized for precisely adjusting the length of the supporting rods, so that the actual length requirement is met. The adjustable wall-attached supporting rod is convenient to mount and transport, reasonable in cost and long in use period; the supporting rods can be precisely mounted, and the whole safety of a tower crane sustaining wall is greatly improved.
