The invention discloses a hydraulic brake system. The hydraulic brake system comprises a hydraulic unit, a passive type brake cylinder and an energy accumulator, wherein a brake control system of the hydraulic unit is provided with a closed-loop control path, one way is connected with an oil path between a first high-speed switch valve and a second high-speed switch valve, controls the passive type brake cylinder and an oil tank to be connected or disconnected through controlling of power gaining or power loss of the first high-speed switch valve and controls the energy accumulator and the passive type brake cylinder to be connected or disconnected through controlling of power gaining or power loss of the second high-speed switch valve, so that the pressure of the passive type brake cylinder is adjusted, and the closed-loop control of the brake pressure is realized; the other way is divided into two parallel branches and controls the passive type brake cylinder and the oil tank to be indirectly connected or directly connected through power gaining or power loss of an electromagnetic unloading valve, and accordingly, braking keeping or stopping braking of a vehicle is realized. According to the hydraulic brake system, the accurate closed-loop control for the brake pressure of the passive type brake cylinder is realized, and requirements of vehicle braking, braking keeping, braking stop and power-loss automatic emergency braking are met.
