The invention discloses a safety device of a hoisting cage emergency exit. The safety device comprises a hoisting cage top plate (11) and a hoisting cage bottom plate (12); a box type defined by a front side plate (16), a rear side plate (15), a left side plate (13) and a right side plate (14) is formed between the hoisting cage top plate (11) and the hoisting cage bottom plate (12); the emergency exit is formed in the hoisting cage top plate (11), and a safety door (17) is arranged above the emergency exit and is connected with the hoisting cage top plate (11) through a hinge structure; and the safety device is characterized in that a small hole (18) is formed in one side, far away from the hinge structure, of the safety door (17), a locking device is arranged in the small hole, and the safety door (17) and the hoisting cage top plate (11) are fixed. Meanwhile, the safety device has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to use and the like.
