The invention discloses an installation structure for an equipment compartment skirt plate. The upper portion of the skirt plate is detachably and fixedly connected to a vehicle boundary beam. A rotary shaft with the axis parallel to the length direction of a vehicle body is arranged on a framework boundary beam of an equipment compartment. A hook part matched with the rotary shaft is arranged on the lower portion of the skirt plate. The skirt plate can rotate around the framework boundary beam through cooperation of the hook part and the rotation shaft. The installation structure facilitates detachment of the skirt plate, so that overhaul and maintenance of equipment under a vehicle are more convenient; installation reliability and safety of the skirt plate can be guaranteed, and the safety hidden hazards caused when the railway vehicle runs and the skirt plate is likely to be opened are avoided.
