The invention discloses a height adjustment mechanism which comprises a gear (1), a control lever (2), a vertical rod (3), an outer shell (4) and a stop block (5), wherein the vertical rod is inserted into the outer shell and can move along the length direction of the vertical rod; the external surface of the vertical rod is provided with a first insection (6); the gear is arranged in the outer shell, and a second insection (7) on the gear is matched with the first insection; the central position of the gear is fixedly connected with one end of the control lever, and the other end of the control lever extends to the outer side of the outer shell and can rotate freely; the stop block is arranged on the outer surface of the outer shell, and the vertical rod is provided with a groove (10) matched with the stop block. The height adjustment mechanism can be used for solving the problems that a height adjustment device in the prior art is quite complicated in structure and not applicable to multiple devices, and realizing more convenience in adjustment.
