The present invention relates to a protective unit for airfoil elements. The protective unit is composed of a composition (1), wherein, the composition includes a polymeric membrane (1), a metal belt deposited on one part of the polymeric membrane (1), and a member (3) for attaching the polymeric membrane to the airfoil elements. The polymeric membrane forms a sand erosion protection for the airfoil attached by the composition, and the metal belt forms a water erosion protection for the airfoil.
