The invention belongs to the technical field of sound insulation and noise reduction of vehicle body sheet metal cavities, and in particular, relates to a noise reduction structure for a vehicle body sheet metal part cavity. The noise reduction structure comprises an expansion rubber block arranged in the vehicle body sheet metal part cavity, wherein the sheet metal part cavity is divided into multiple cavities by the expansion rubber block; a gap for passing through electrolyte is formed between the expansion rubber block and a sheet metal part, and/or the expansion rubber block is provided with a process hole for passing through the electrolyte; the vehicle body sheet metal part cavity is divided into two or more cavities by the expansion rubber block to reduce airflows to enter a vehicle body, so that the noise reduction purpose of the vehicle body can be achieved; and as the gap for passing through the electrolyte is formed between the expansion rubber block and the sheet metal part, or the expansion rubber block is provided with the process hole for passing through the electrolyte, the electrolyte can smoothly pass into the cavity of the sheet metal part to guarantee the cleaning purpose of the electrolyte to the vehicle sheet metal part, and the erosion of external moisture to the internal of the sheet metal part is reduced.
