The invention relates to a lifting device for detection of braking performance of multi-axis vehicles, and particularly to an elbow joint arm lifting device with an unpowered locked top point. The device comprises a lifting bedplate mechanism, elbow joint arm mechanisms, lifting airbag mechanisms and a bottom frame mechanism, wherein the bottom frame mechanism is horizontally fixed on the groundwork; the elbow joint arm mechanisms are fixed at the left and right ends above the bottom frame mechanism; the lifting airbag mechanisms are arranged at the four corners above the bottom frame mechanism and are fixedly connected through bolts; the lifting bedplate mechanism is arranged above the elbow joint arm mechanisms, the lifting airbag mechanisms and the bottom frame mechanism and is fixedly connected with the elbow joint arm mechanisms and the lifting airbag mechanisms through bolts. The elbow joint arm lifting device with the unpowered locked top point is provided. The two sets of the elbow joint arm mechanisms are locked by bypassing the positions with unsteady dead points for lifting and dropping action; the problem of braking safety of multi-axis trucks and combination vehicle composed of parallel-mounted axis semi-trailers can be verified.
