The invention discloses an elevator rope head installation structure, which comprises a rope head component (1), a rope head plate (2) and a steel wire rope (3), wherein the lower end of the rope head component (1) can up and down movably pass through the rope head plate (2) and is connected with the rope head plate (2) through an elastic piece (5), bend wheels (4) are further arranged above the rope head plate (2), and the steel wire rope (3) upwardly extends after bypassing a diversion sheave on an elevator car or a diversion sheave on a counterpoise, and then is connected onto the rope head component (1) by downwardly extending after bypassing above the bend wheels (4). The elevator rope head installation structure greatly reduces height demands of elevators to a top layer space of a shaft by arranging the bend wheels above the rope head plate and changing a connecting mode of the steel wire rope and the rope head component. A plurality of steel wire ropes which are divided into two rows or many rows in a staggered state ago are changed to be arranged in a row, thereby being prevented from causing rope loosening accidents because angles of steel wire ropes deflect too large, enabling adjustable range of the steel wire ropes to be increased after the steel wire ropes downwardly extend from the bend wheels.
