The invention relates to an automation control system for a crane of a cable car. The automation control system comprises crane load detection equipment, temperature detection equipment, a crane balance subsystem, an air port regulation subsystem and a main controller. The main controller is connected with the crane load detection equipment, the temperature detection equipment, the crane balance subsystem and the air port regulation subsystem and used for controlling the crane balance subsystem to keep the crane of the cable car in balance on the basis of the load detection result of the crane load detection equipment and controlling the air port regulation subsystem to regulate the air port and air direction of the crane of the cable car on the basis of the temperature detection result of the temperature detection equipment. By applying the automation control system for the crane of the cable car, the weight on both sides of the cable car can be automatically balanced, and the air port of the cable car can be changed in real time, so that a more comfortable riding environment is provided for tourists who take the cable car.
