The invention discloses an automatic tower crane luffing calibration device based on a proximity sensor. The automatic tower crane luffing calibration device comprises the proximity sensor, a single chip microcomputer and an embedded processor, wherein a signal output terminal of the proximity sensor is connected with a signal input terminal of the single-chip microcomputer, the single-chip microcomputer is connected with the embedded processor through a 485 bus, and the embedded processor carries out corresponding subsequent processing according to data transmitted back by the single-chip microcomputer. The device is easy and convenient to install, and high in measurement accuracy, and can be used for regularly calibrating tower crane luffing, so that luffing inaccurate error is reduced caused by long-time running of a tower crane.
