The invention discloses a multi-stage and telescopic parallel foldable boom of a self-unloading ship belt conveyor and a using method. The multi-stage and telescopic parallel foldable boom comprises a telescopic boom body, a foldable boom, a folding structure and a luffing structure. The telescopic boom body is connected with the foldable boom through pins, and the foldable boom is connected onto hinged supports of a hull; the folding structure is hinged to the foldable boom through a connecting rod in the folding structure, and the folding structure is connected with pulleys on the telescopic boom body through a load cable; one end of the luffing structure is hinged to the hinged supports of the hull through a tie rod device in the luffing structure, and one end is connected with a base frame of the folding structure through a tie rod device in the luffing structure. By the adopted multi-stage telescopic structure, folding structure, luffing structure and using method, the structure is simple, operation and installation are facilitated, the working surface of a conveying belt has no turnover and no tightness change during telescoping, folding and luffing, and reliability in material conveying of the belt conveyor is improved.
