In order to readily manufacture a device that utilizes boil-off gas generated in a tank, a tank internal pressure suppression device comprises: a gas combustion unit (31) that generates pressurized exhaust gas by using compressed air and combusting boil-off gas generated inside an LNG tank (1); a compressor (36) that generates compressed air by using motive force generated in a pressurized exhaust gas expansion process by an air-compression gas turbine (34), to compress air; and a load (37) that utilizes recovered motive force generated, using pressurized exhaust gas, by a motive force recovery gas turbine (35) different from the air-compression gas turbine (34). This kind of tank internal pressure suppression device is capable of having a simpler configuration than other tank internal pressure suppression devices (10) whereby the load (37) utilizes motive force generated by the air-compression gas turbine (34).
