An elevator band-type brake power supply device is equipped with a power supply input terminal (1), a power supply conversion device (2) and a band-type brake coil wiring terminal (4), the output of the power supply conversion device (2) is a DC power supply, and a transient voltage suppressor diode (3) is arranged between the positive pole and the negative pole of the output DC power supply. The cathode of the transient voltage suppressor diode (3) is connected with the positive pole of the output DC power supply, and the anode of the transient voltage suppressor diode (3) is connected with the negative pole of the output DC power supply. A forward characteristic of the transient voltage suppressor diode is used to form a diode follow current circuit, and a reverse characteristic of the transient voltage suppressor diode is used to form an overvoltage protection circuit. The elevator band-type brake power supply device is compact and practical in circuit, and enables the production and maintenance cost to be reduced.
