The invention discloses a vehicle tracking system based on Doppler shift. The vehicle tracking system comprises a satellite positioning unit, a server, a public frequency transmission circuit and a Doppler direction finding unit, wherein the Doppler direction finding unit comprises a receiving antenna and a rotary base; the receiving antenna is arranged on the rotary base and rotates at fixed angle frequency to receive a frequency signal; the satellite positioning unit, a mobile communication unit and the public frequency transmission circuit are mounted on a vehicle; the mobile communication unit, the satellite positioning unit and the public frequency transmission circuit are mounted on the vehicle; the satellite positioning unit is connected with the mobile communication unit; the mobile communication unit is in communication connection with the server; the mobile communication unit is in communication connection with the public frequency transmission circuit. The vehicle tracking system based on Doppler shift can effectively improve the vehicle tracking reliability and efficiency.
