The invention relates to a travelling safety device, in particular to an automobile rear-end collision prevention safety device for foggy weather. The automobile rear-end collision prevention safety device comprises a laser radar distance meter which is mounted on an automobile head, wherein the laser radar distance meter is connected at the input end of a micro processor; the output end of the micro processor is connected with a voice module and an LED (light-emitting diode) display module; automobile travelling safety distance and voice information are stored in the micro processor; and the micro processor is further connected with a brake module used for an automobile brake system. The automobile rear-end collision prevention safety device for foggy weather helps a driver to keep an enough safety distance with a car in front while travelling in the fog and is capable of automatically comparing cars with objects around to automatically control a motor vehicle brake system, so that an accident is prevented and the safety performance of the vehicle is improved.
