The invention discloses an axial light sensing type hoister braking disc deflection monitoring device which comprises a base and a sliding rod. The sliding rod can slide in the central axis direction of the base. A light source generating unit and a light source receiving unit are symmetrically arranged on the inner sides of the two side walls of the central axis of the base. Hoister braking disc axial jumping is converted to moving of a square through hole in the sliding rod, an axial jumping value of a baking disc is obtained through the light sensing principle, and the deflection quantity of the hoister braking disc is obtained by conversion. Real-time monitoring on hoister braking disc deflection is achieved. Under the situation that original hoisting equipment is not changed, the deflection situation of the hoister braking disc is monitored in real time, monitoring on the state of the hoister braking disc is achieved, and certain guiding significance is achieved on running state monitoring of a hoister braking system. The axial light sensing type hoister braking disc deflection monitoring device is simple in structure and convenient to use, worker participation is lowered, and the accuracy of diagnosis of hoister braking disc deflection faults is improved.
