The invention discloses an electric self-balancing scooter comprising two wheels mounted on a wheel shaft and a support disposed between the wheels. The support comprises a rod mounted on the wheel shaft; the upper end of the rod is provided with a handle part; the handle part is mounted on the rod through a rotating mechanism; the rotating mechanism comprises a fixed part mounted on the rod and a rotating part capable of rotating relative to the fixed part; the handle part is fixed to the rotating part; the rotating mechanism is provided with an angular detector used for detecting rotational angle of the rotating part. The rotating mechanism and the angular detector are disposed between the rod and the handle part, thus turning control precision is improved.
