The invention relates to a damping foot type robot based on a six-degrees-of-freedom parallel mechanism and belongs to the technical field of robots. The foot type robot comprises a robot body, a movement mechanism, a damping feedback mechanism, a movement mechanism control module, a switching value signal detection module and a mode control module, wherein the movement mechanism is connected to the lower portion of the robot body. When the damping feedback mechanism of the movement mechanism makes contact with the ground, a touch switch is started, and the switching value signal detection module controls the mode control module to output a command of stopping continuing extension to the movement mechanism control module. The foot type robot performs feedback control over whether foot ends of the robot make contact with the ground or not and can effectively solve the technical difficulty that a robot jolts due to uneven ground when performing predetermined commands, thereby having important application and popularization value.
