The invention discloses a constant triggering force type rail vehicle obstacle detection device. Front-end cantilevers of elastic supports are connected at two ends of a detection beam fixedly and symmetrically in a matched manner and are connected with shifting needle limit plates fixedly, and the shifting needle limit plates are provided with through holes. A supporting limit plate for limiting excessive deformation of the front-end cantilever is arranged between the front-end cantilever and a rear-end supporting arm of each elastic support, a switch base is fixedly connected to each supporting limit plate, a travel switch is fixedly connected to each switch base, and a shifting needle is arranged on each travel switch and disposed in the corresponding through hole. A movable toothed plate is fixedly connected to the rear-end supporting arm of each elastic support and provided with tooth spaces, and a toothed plate supporting seat is provided with tooth spaces meshing with each movable toothed plate in a matched manner. The constant triggering force type rail vehicle obstacle detection device has the advantages that the height of the detection beam is adjusted by means of adjusting mesh between the toothed plate supporting seats and the tooth spaces of the movable toothed plates so as to meet obstacle detection requirements of different heights of vehicles; height adjustment cannot change triggering torque used for triggering the travel switches and acting on the detection beam, and accordingly, recalibration of parameters of the travel switches is avoided after height adjustment.
