The invention discloses an automotive emergency braking system which comprises a sudden stop button, a sensor group, a signal processor, a controller, executing mechanisms, a distance sensor, a speed sensor and an alarm apparatus. The executing mechanisms comprise power source cutting-off devices for cutting off power sources and brake supercharging devices for providing maximum brake force, wherein each power source cutting-off device comprises a main power source cutting-off switch, a branch power source cutting-off switch and a residual current sensor, the distance sensor and the speed sensor are connected with the input end of the controller, the alarm apparatus is connected with the output end of the controller, and the sudden stop button is connected with the input end of the sensor group. After the automotive emergency braking system is adopted and a driver needs to emergently brake and park a vehicle, the system can rapidly cut off a power source of the vehicle and meanwhile utilizes the maximum brake force allowable by a performance parameter of the vehicle to brake only by pressing down the sudden stop button, and the phenomenon that the vehicle cannot be timely stopped due to insufficient brake force during emergency baking.
