The invention relates to a lifting mechanism for overturn unloading of a carriage. Two lifting mechanisms are arranged at an interval along the vehicle width/vehicle length direction. Each lifting mechanism comprises a lifting top cylinder, a fixing support used for fixing the lifting top cylinder and an installation support used for installing the lifting top cylinder on a vehicle frame, wherein a cylinder body of the lifting top cylinder and the fixing support form hinged connection along the vehicle width/vehicle length through a first shaft body, the fixing support and the installation support form hinged connection along the vehicle width/vehicle length through a second shaft body, the first shaft body and the second shaft body are arranged in a mode of being vertical with each other, and the top end of a piston rod of the lifting top cylinder is connected with the carriage. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, each lifting top cylinder rotates around the first shaft body and the second shaft body, and then the carriage is jacked to rotate and turn over around the vehicle width or the vehicle length direction, thereby realizing side turning unloading and backward turning unloading.
