The invention relates to the technical field of rubber, in particular to off-the-road tire tread rubber composition and a production method thereof. The off-the-road tire tread rubber composition using 100 parts of styrene-butadiene rubber as benchmark further comprises, by weight, 70-80 parts of carbon black, 15-25 parts of environment-friendly oil 595B, 4-8 parts of mixture of cycloaliphatic petroleum-based anti-tear resin and hydrocarbon resin with functional groups, 2-5 parts of thermoplastic, p-tert-butyl phenol formaldehyde resin, 3-6 parts of zinc oxide, 2-4 parts of stearic acid, 2-4 parts of protective wax, 1-2 parts of N-(1,3-dimethyl butyl)-N'-phenyl p-phenylenediamine, 0-1 part of N, N'-diphenyl p-phenylenediamine, 1-1.8 parts of sulfur, 0.8-1.2 parts of vulcanization accelerator N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazolyl sulfonamide, 0.5-1.5 parts of vulcanization accelerator dibenzothiazyl disulfide, 0.2-0.4 part of scorch retarder N-cyclohexyl sulfo phthalimide.
