The invention discloses a flight management method of an unmanned aerial vehicle. A flight plan application is sent to an authorization server through a mobile phone APP (Application); the application comprises description of a flight airspace; the description of the flight airspace together with a character string key is encrypted by the authorization server to form an airspace key; then the airspace key is replied to the mobile phone APP; the description of the flight airspace and the airspace key are transmitted to the unmanned aerial vehicle by the mobile phone APP or transmitted to operation equipment of the unmanned aerial vehicle by the mobile phone APP and then transmitted to the unmanned aerial vehicle by the operation equipment of the unmanned aerial vehicle; the description of the flight airspace and the character string key are encrypted according to the same encryption mode of the authorization server by an unmanned aerial vehicle control box, the encryption result is compared with the airspace key transmitted by the mobile phone APP, the unmanned aerial vehicle is allowed to take off if the encryption result conforms with the airspace key, and otherwise the unmanned aerial vehicle is not allowed to take off. According to the unmanned aerial vehicle, the unmanned aerial vehicle cannot obtain the airspace key in the unpermitted flight, namely the flight not applied to the authorization server, cannot take off. Therefore, the problem of flight management of the unmanned aerial vehicle can be solved from a wider angle.
