The invention discloses a top pipe deck of a cantilever beam and a building method of the top pipe deck. The deck comprises a plurality of pipe deck units connected in order and a plurality of cross beam inserting plates; each of the pipe deck unit comprises a pipe deck slice and a pipe deck cross beam; a long side of the pipe deck slice and a long side of the pipe deck cross beam are perpendicularly connected one-to-one to form an L shape; both ends of the pipe deck cross beam deviating from the pipe deck slice are respectively provided with a notch, and the cross beam inserting plates are fixed at the notch, and an opening is arranged on each of the cross beam inserting plates; the pipe deck slices of a plurality of pipe deck units are located in the same one plane, and the pipe deck cross beams of a plurality of pipe deck units are located at the same one side of the pipe deck face slice. In the top pipe deck of the cantilever beam and the building method of the top pipe deck, a plurality of pipe deck units are folded and combined to form the pipe deck at first before hoisting; the connection between the pipe deck and two big beams can be completed by hoisting once, and thus avoiding the problem of hoisting for many times. The building method is less in occupied time, labor-saving, and short in building cycle, and able to greatly improve the production efficiency.
