The invention discloses a design method of vehicle door glass. The method comprises the following steps: S1, supposing a molding glass surface, wherein the molding glass surface is a curved surface and is provided with front and rear boundaries; S2, fitting to form first and second circles according to the front and rear boundaries of the molding glass surface respectively; S3, forming two cylindrical surfaces by taking a first axis as a rotation axis, wherein the first axis is a connecting line of the circle centers of the first circle and the second circle; S4, projecting one point on the front and rear boundaries of the molding glass surface to the two cylindrical surfaces to obtain two projection points respectively, and forming two spiral lines with the first axis as the axis by passing through the two projection points respectively; S5, forming a plane by passing through the first axis, wherein the plane is crossed with the two spiral lines to obtain two cross points, forming an arc passing through the two cross points on the plane, and sweeping with the arc as a contour line and the two spiral lines as guide lines to form a double spiral line glass surface. According to the design method of the vehicle door glass provided by the embodiment of the invention, the limitation of the glass surface to modeling is reduced when the requirement on a vehicle door engineering structure is met.
