The invention relates to a remote control type water-borne trash collector. The remote control type water-borne trash collector comprises a ship body. A power propeller is arranged on the lower rear portion of the ship body. A trash collection frame is arranged on the tail portion of the ship body. The rear portion of the trash collection frame is connected with a trash collection box which is a cuboid mesh box with an opening in one side face. The trash collection frame comprises two parallel sieve plates. One ends of the two sieve plates are connected to the upper face and the lower face of the tail portion of the ship body respectively, and the other ends of the two sieve plates are connected with the upper edge and the lower edge of the opening in the side face of the trash collection frame. The two lateral sides of the opening in the side face of the trash collection frame are connected with a left side thin steel wire net and a right side thin steel wire net respectively. A foldable support is arranged on the ship body. Folding ends of the foldable support extend towards the two sides of the ship body and are connected with a left side baffle and a right side baffle respectively. The left side thin steel wire net and the right side thin steel wire net are connected with the left side baffle and the right side baffle respectively. The remote control type water-borne trash collector aims at collecting trash floating on water surfaces, and is small in size, flexible, convenient to operate, store and transport and suitable for small water areas such as garden lakes and urban river channels, the work efficiency is improved, and the environmental sanitation cost is reduced.
