The invention provides a self-moving traffic sign for a vehicle. The self-moving traffic sign for the vehicle is composed of a structure with a self-moving function, wherein a reflecting plate and/or a traffic reminding device is mounted on the structure, a sound reminding device can also be mounted on the structure, and the self-moving function is realized by an energy storage device and a driving device. When needed, the self-moving traffic sign can be placed on the ground manually and started or can be released out automatically after being triggered by an accident, the self-moving traffic sign will automatically move to the position which conforms to the traffic safety regulations; since the traffic sign has the self-moving function, so the self-moving traffic sign is more convenient to use, and the traffic safety performance is greatly improved; a self-moving device can be a remote control device or an automatic advancing device which is driven through parameter identification; the self-moving device can be a wheel-type advancing device or an advancing device in another mode; the traffic reminding device can be a reflecting device or a self-illumination device or a sound reminding device.
