The invention relates to a landing method for a ship loader. The method comprises the following steps: a tail trolley is hoisted to an assigned position with a floating crane; a ship loader main unit is hoisted to an assigned position in complete unit with the floating crane; the ship loader main unit is pulled to the position of the tail trolley by utilizing a trailer; the ship loader main unit and the tail trolley are connected; parts and components are mounted; debugging is conducted; when the main unit is hoisted, the walking direction of a ship loader cart is turned by 180 degrees; after the main unit passes a wharf corridor and before the main unit falls on a rail, the walking direction of the ship loader cart is resumed; before the main unit is hoisted, emergency power supply is switched on, the pitching angle of an arm support is adjusted, and the gravity center of the main unit is adjusted to avoid the interference of a hoisting steel wire rope and a computer room under frame. The landing method has the advantages that a complete machine hoisting method is adopted; the construction period is short; original equipment at the wharf is not dismantled; a great amount of manpower and material resources are saved; influence to the wharf production of a user is not generated; the walking direction of the ship loader cart is turned by 180 degrees; certain interference substances are avoided from being dismantled; the gravity center is calculated and the pitching angle of the arm support is adjusted before the hoisting; the smooth hoisting of the ship loader is ensured.
