The invention discloses an automobile tail-crash proof system based on millimeter-wave radar. The system comprises the millimeter-wave radar, a GPS navigator, an automobile distance determining module and an anti-collision monitoring module. The automobile distance determining module is connected with a microcontroller in the GPS navigator, is used for processing distance measuring result data of the millimeter-wave radar to obtain a preliminary automobile distance d0, dynamically compensates for the preliminary automobile distance d0 according to the automobile speed v0 provided by the GPS navigator, and therefore determines an actual automobile distance d between the automobile distance determining module and a front automobile; and the anti-collision monitoring module is used for giving out an anti-collision alarm trigger signal when the actual automobile distance d is smaller than the preset safety distance, and the microcontroller triggers the GPS navigator to report a preset anti-collision prompt signal according to the anti-collision alarm trigger signal. The automobile tail-crash proof system is simple in structure, low in implementation cost, convenient to use and practical.
