The invention discloses a laser grid based road surface monitoring system. The system comprises a laser, a CCD image sensor, a multi-point control module and a driver reminding module. The laser is used for projection of laser grids and is arranged on an adjusting mechanism. The multi-point control module is connected with the adjusting mechanism with the laser, the CCD image sensor and the driver reminding module respectively. The multi-point control module is further connected with a CAN bus node module which can acquire car steering wheel turning angles and car speed information. The multi-point control module controls the adjusting mechanism with the laser according to the car steering wheel turning angles and the car speed information and adjusts steering angles and pitch angles of the laser to change projection angles and projection distances of the laser grids on the ground. The system has the advantages that the monitoring efficiency and the effectiveness are improved, and the system is connected with a head-up display and voice reminding module, so that the drivers can be reminded to pay attention to the road surface conditions effectively when monitoring road surface abnormities.
