The invention discloses an intelligent corridor elevator instead of walk. The intelligent corridor elevator comprises a plurality of lifting units, wherein the number of the lifting units is equal to that of stairway sections. Each lifting unit comprises a lifter, a driving device and a control unit, and guide rails are fixedly arranged on the corridor wall corresponding to each stairway section; each lifter is arranged on the corresponding guide rails in a sliding mod, and a seat and armrests are arranged on the outer side face of each lifter, wherein the surface of the seat is provided with a pressure sensor, and a safety switch is arranged on one armrest; the control units start up or shut down the corresponding driving units according to detection results of the pressure sensors and the states of the safety switches. The lifters corresponding to all the stairway sections can lift independently and respectively without being affected by utilization of the other lifters, and operation is fast and efficient; as the seats of the lifters are provided with the pressure sensors and the safety switches, only when a user stands stably and holds the armrest well, can the corresponding lifter operate, and therefore the use safety of the elevator instead of walk is greatly improved.
