The invention relates to a tail jet-propelled airfoil profile sail which comprises a sail body. The end of a mast fixedly connected to the sail body is fixedly connected with a rotary base. The rotary base is meshed with a main gear which is driven by a hydraulic motor. An air flow channel is arranged on the sail body. The mast is of a hollow structure with an air supply channel. The air supply channel is communicated with the air flow channel. A draught fan is arranged in the air flow channel. The tail end of the air flow channel is communicated with an air jetting channel at the tail end of the sail body. On the basis of laboratory analysis of the aerodynamic characteristics of the surface of the hard airfoil profile sail, a sail tail jet-propelled jet flow generation device is introduced, the flow field characteristic of trailing vortex separation of the hard airfoil profile sail is changed, the aerodynamic lift of the airfoil profile sail is influenced, and the propelling efficiency of an existing airfoil profile sail model machine is improved. The tail jet-propelled airfoil profile sail has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to operate, scientific, reasonable and excellent in aerodynamic performance.
