The invention provides a ship draft measurement method and device. The ship draft measurement method comprises the following steps that S1, a graduated cylinder with two ends open is obtained, the graduated cylinder is inserted in water in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction, and the opening in the lower end of the graduated cylinder is in the closed state at the moment; S2, one degree scale of the graduated cylinder is made to be flush with a draft mark on a ship planking, and the degree scale and the numerical value of the draft mark are recorded; S3, the lower end of the graduated cylinder is opened, and wave dissipation is conducted on water entering the graduated cylinder; S4, after the water in the graduated cylinder stands for a period of time, the lower end of the graduated cylinder is closed; S5, the graduated cylinder is taken out, and the numerical value of the horizontal plane is read, so that a measurement value is obtained; S6, ship displacement is calculated according to the recorded degree scale, the numerical value of the draft mark and the measurement value. According to the ship draft measurement method and device, direct manual sampling is conducted by means of the graduated cylinder, in this way, cost is saved, and measurement precision is maximized, and furthermore, measurement precision is improved through the treatment such as wave dissipation and filtration.
